Mazda Lifestyle / Re: Mazda RX-9?

We've been hearing for years that the Mazda RX-9 – a successor to the RX-8 and older RX-7 – is coming. In October 2019 a new patent breathed a little bit of life into the possibility, and in early 2020 we learned that while the RX-9 would be a true sports car, it wouldn't have a rotary engine.

Hi bro, anything wrong with the brakes is very dangerous. I recommend you getting it checked ASAP.

Are you brake pads still OK? Does the disc need skimming?

Best to go to a workshop to get it checked ASAP. I'm hoping it's something as minor as the shim plate behind the brake pads are 'out of place'. Good luck!

List updated to include Min Ghee, thanks for the input!
Wow, $3000 is crazy!

What year is your Mazda 3?
Hi all, my mazda 3 digital speedometer display is faulty and MaZda is quoting $3000 plus to replace the whole unit. Any idea where to repair just the digital display?

Hey folks,

the last post was a few weeks ago. Now I have something new for You.

As You may know not only our customers drive MX-5s/Miatas, also some of our employees have them.

This is the car from our professional for all body work. It got a full Carbonmiata widebody kit which he installed by himself. The car also has a TD04 turbo conversion on its 1.8L BP making 250hp at the flywheel. To get the wheels (10,5x15 -13mm offset) fitted under the fenders he also installed camber arms on the rear axle together with our own SPS Super Low coilover setup. In the interior he installed a pair of Bride Low Maxx seats.

Best regards
Guido from SPS
Mazda Lifestyle / Re: Door auto lock for new Mazda 2 & 3

Unlike most Japanese cars, the new Mazda 2 & 3 do not come with auto door lock function. This is a necessary safety function especially when you are involved in a road rage or against intruders across the causeway. I know it can be activated manually but people do forget. I understand from Mazda Japan that the system is in place in the car but is not activated. Some Mazda 2 and 3s have the function activated by 3rd parties in Singapore and Johor.  Can the local agent, Trans Eurokars Pte Ltd, take steps to activate it for us when we send the car for servicing? Hope this can be considered as an added service for owners.

Have you considered checking with Eurokars? They might be able to do it for a small fee.

The newer Mazdas do come with autolock though, as bro Seamaster has mentioned.
